T-Systems relies on Technologies from SPEECH DESIGN
An Office Telephone for the Road
On the 6th of September 2007 in Frankfurt am Main T-Systems introduced a new product, with which in the future the employees of a company will be able to use their mobile phones with all the functions of an office telephone. The new product („Octopus Mobility Services“) integrates the mobile handset into the existing telephone system – The product functions with all current PBXs. The forwarding of calls or the setting up of conference calls is at once possible with the mobile phone.
Octopus Mobility Services
Octopus Mobility Services is installed simply through Plug & Play in all commercially available PBXs. In doing so, T-Systems operates the hardware between the fixed line and the PBX. „Octopus Mobility Services“ does not just offer more functions for the mobile handset, this solution also lowers communication costs. The calls arrive from the mobile handset to the PBX of the company and from there they reach the fixed line. Therefore an international call made with a mobile phone will be charged as if it has been made from a fixed line.
FMC-Technology
This innovative service from T-Systems is based on Fixed-Mobile-Convergence Technologies von Speech Design. As a result, T-Systems is able to count on proven technology from leading European providers of messaging- and mobility solutions for companies and network operators.
