Speech Design Turns New BlackBerry Models into PBX Extensions
The newest release of Speech Design´s FMC software supports BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Pearl 8220 smartphones
Speech Design, the messaging and mobility specialist, extends its BlackBerry support by including the new Bold and Pearl 8220 smartphones in the newest Mobility Client Software release. With its new release, the software now covers all important smartphone platforms (Symbian, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile) and a large number of popular handsets.
The client software adds an easy and intuitive user interface to Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) systems, enabling seamless communications between wireless and wireline networks.
In addition to the company´s own brand „Teleserver Mobile Pro“, the Mobility Client Software supports other FMC systems developed by Speech Design and marketed by T-Systems, Siemens and Avaya under different product names.
Leading industry analysts increasingly regard FMC as an important component of Unified Communications solutions.
Easy FMC control through Client Software
The Client Software offers an intuitive graphical user interface in the smartphone display, enabling easy one-click access to popular PBX functions such as call forwarding, alternating, conferencing and live call recording. Mobile employees communicate via a single telephone number (the office PBX extension) for all incoming and outgoing office calls, no matter what phone they actually use.
