Email, Calendar & Co. are just half the mobile office

Teleserver Mobile Pro and Smartphones with Client Software

Speech Design completes the mobile office by integrating users´ desktop
telephones with the smartphones they use on the move

Smartphones are becoming more and more popular with mobile professionals who
must be reachable and able to work while away from the office. Even with the growing
presence of mobile Email and calendar, one of the most important corporate
communication tools has been missing: the good old office telephone. When trying to
reach a business contact, most callers still dial the office number first, before calling the
mobile number (if known). In the worst case, two voice messages are left in two
different mailboxes.

At CeBIT, Speech Design presents a new version of its Teleserver Mobile Pro solution,
which has been optimized especially for smartphone users. Mobile Pro integrates any
mobile phone as a „fixed“ extension of the corporate telephone system (PBX), enabling
seamless communications between wireline and wireless networks. Businesses of all sizes
can improve their communication flow and employee availability and, in many cases,
reduce the overall communication cost. Even on the road, mobile employees can be
reached under their regular office number. Business calls initiated on the mobile are
routed through the wireline network and present the office number to the called party
(“One Number Concept”). Mobile Pro users have only one voice mailbox („One
Mailbox Concept”) for all their voice messages. Messages can be conveniently retrieved
on the mobile phone, the office phone or from the user´s Email account on any PC.

Speech Design announces immediate availability of its Smartphone Mobility Client
Software for Mobile Pro (SMCS). Compared with voice prompt driven dialogues on
basic mobiles, SMCS offers smartphone users the convenience of a visual interface, with
all Mobile Pro features presented on the handset display for direct “click of a button”
selection. SMCS is immediately available for BlackBerry, Nokia and Windows Mobile
smartphones; according to a Speech Design spokesperson approx. 80% of the most
popular smartphone models are covered. SMCS is also compatible with OEM versions of
MobilePro, such as Octopus Mobility Services of T-Systems and Xpressions Compact
Mobility of Siemens.

Speech Design invites mobile CeBIT visitors to “come and call” (Hall 13,
Booth C14).
