Installation

Symbian Installation

  1. Copy the SIS file NokiaFMCMobilityClient<Version>.sis to a directory of your choice
  2. Start Nokia PC Suite and install the SIS file, following the instructions of the program
  3. To finish the installation, follow the instructions on the mobile phone

If you have installed an older version of the FMC Mobility Client on your mobile phone please first uninstall the software.

 

Configuration

System configuration

  1. Please open the FMC Mobility Client
  2. Click on Options and Settings
  3. Fill out the configuration details and save the settings.
    (Please ask your system administrator for your personal settings.)

Function Numbers

Function numbers enable a remote control of Teleserver Mobile Pro. Basically, these are extension numbers which are reserved for special functionalities and which are already configured in the systems during installation (s. Administration Manual). Now, the FMC Mobility Client needs to be configured accordingly.

  1. Please open the FMC Mobility Client
  2. Click on Options and Configurations
  3. Fill out the requested function numbers and save the settings
    (Please ask your system administrator for the function numbers)
